Car Wheels on a Gravel Road

For a prompt for a homework assignment we had to write a story about car wheels on a gravel road. And you might realize that the indents aren't all the same this is because the tab button wasn't working for some reason so....here is my paper typed:

"Orin shut the windows, you're letting the dust in," my mom asked.
I didn't want to, I like the smell of dust (it smelled(and tasted) well, dusty), but I had to, thanks to my mom's power. She had the power of influence. I can normally resist a little since her power isn't "You have to do everything I say". But, thanks to my dad sleeping with huge earmuffs on (You'll figure out why he needs them in a little while.) right next to her there was nothing I could do. My dad's power is making other powers stronger. It's really annoying when paired up with my mom.
"Thanks honey. Now don't roll the window down again," my mom told me.
            Man. She thought of everything.
"Mom! Can I get a cheese stick!?" my brother screamed.
Ugh. My younger brother woke up, and thanks to him his twin is also now awake.
"Sure.... here you go. But, please quiet down," my mom told him.
"Wahhh!!!!" wailed Steve (he's a baby).
Ugh. Once again thanks to my brothers the baby is awake.
CRASH!
A small rock just flew through our window. (Since we are on a gravel road.)
             "Orin!" mom yelled.
"I knew what she wanted. I used my power (mine being telekinesis), and with the help of my dad, picked up all the shards of glass in the car and outside the car to reform the window. It wasn't going to last very long and you couldn't see out of it very well but my mom insisted that is was better then dust getting in. The rock through the window thing had already happened to one of our other windows. (Which really stinks because we just got this car)......... O.K. before I, being Orin, go further into my fabulous story let me tell you briefly what is happening. We are off to Super Power City (I don't know why the world called it that either.) This is the place where babies (you remember Steve?) get their super power. For example, I have telekinesis. Another example are my brothers. They (being twins) have the same annoying power of having other super powers not affecting them. This means that what ever chaos they create can't just be simplified by my mom telling them to stop. O.K. back to Super Power City. In order to get there you must travel by car, with your entire family (which is the annoying part) on this long, what seems like never ending, gravel road. O.K. now that I've set the scene a little better let's continue with the story.

*5 minutes have past*

"Mom!" I wailed, "Can't you just tell them to stop!"
My brothers had been constantly jabbing me with their hands. And let me tell you after awhile it starts to HURT!
"Boys can you stop annoying your brother?!" my mom asked.
"Of course we can mom but we aren't going to!" My brothers responded.
            Told you they were annoying.
            "Mom?" I asked.
            "Yes son?" my mom sighed.
"Why did they have to get such a good power?"
Naturally the twins butted in "Because we're awesome!"
"You know your power is almost top tier," my mom told me.
"Well yea, but everyone in this car has a better power then me, for example you can use my power by just telling me to!"

THUMP
CRASH

We had fallen off a big drop and in the process two rocks swooped in. But the funny part was the two rocks hit my brothers hands right before they jabbed me.
             "Ow!" they wailed.
After I fixed the windows I picked up the two dusty, rough rocks. I thought bout how they hit my brothers hands.
             "OF COURSE!" I yelled.
"Orin quiet down. my mother told me.
But I didn't care about being loud thought. I had just figured out how to solve my problem. I can't use my powers to stop the twins, but I can use something else to stop their hands. I waited for them to jab me. Right when they did I raised the rocks to where their hands were going.
             "Ow!" They screamed.
Ah-ha! Now all I have to do is deflect their jabs until we get to Super Power City. And that part won't be hard since I see the city right up ahead.
