Due to the 4 new board games we got, the favorite Card/Board Games list underwent some serious maintenance. And man that was difficult. I'm still not sure if I'm 100% satisfied with it yet. Some of the 'not new' games even switched around. For example, Pandemic is above Magic now and Summoner Wars is above T'zolkin. You can look at the list if you want to see all the changes. Of course now that I think about it you probably have already looked at the list.
On a different note, Eric has got me a little into Web Comics. I have already read two web comics 100% (Although both of them are shorter ones. Not like the ones that have been going on daily since 2001 or anything.) One of them is still going on (a new one posts whenever the author feels like it) while one has stopped for good. They are Nedroid and Minus(respectively). I'm currently reading Axe Cop. After that I'm going to read Gunnerkrigg Court. Oh, and somewhere in there I'm going to have to read Ask Axe Cop. After that I don't know, but right now I've got enough web comics to read.

International TableTop Day!
You may have read on my mother's blog that International TableTop Day is on April 11th. But due to cleaning the temple Eric and I are being forced to celebrate it on the 10th. We are going to be playing 24 hours of TableTop Board games straight, midnight to midnight. I'm a little disappointed that we won't be able to celebrate on International TableTop Day itself but I'm still very excited.
My mom said International TableTop Day is a "24 hour game marathon". That's not the whole story though. International TableTop Day is where internationally people play lots of TableTop games. Having a 24 hour game marathon is just a way a some people do it. Other people hold events or just have a normal day but with more TableTop board games involved.
Naturally Eric and I had to splurge our money on board games just so we could have even more board games to play during this 24 hour period. We pooled our money together and got 3 new games and 1 expansion. We got: Mice and Mystics, Eldritch Horror and King of Tokyo. The expansion we got was the Power Up! expansion for King of Tokyo. My mom also chipped in and bought Five Tribes.
Mice and Mystics is a co-operative story driven game with a campaign. In the game you were a human who got turned into a mouse. Eldritch Horror is another co-operative story driven game but it does not have a campaign. In the game you are going around the world trying to stop one of the "Ancient Ones" from awakening (Cthulhu theme). King of Tokyo is a light-hearted dice rolling game where you are monsters trying to be the king of Tokyo. With the Power Up! expansion each different monster has different powers only that monster can get. Five Tribes is a game based off of Moncala (I'm pretty sure that is what it is called). You pick up a group of meeples and drop them one by one until you get to the end result. Depending on what color the meeples are and what spot you ended on different things happen.
All of the games are coming on Tuesday but Eric and I have decided not to play the games until the 10th(except for Five Tribes which came a few days ago. (Naturally we have already 10 games of that.) We will pop out all the tokens and read the rule books so we will not have to waste time on the 10th though.
Sorry for making the post so long if you don't like the longer posts. Or, I guess if you do prefer the longer posts then your welcome.
