I don't know how to break this to you. (This title is probably an exaggeration)

Almost everything is going to be a secret from now on. I'm going to write this book on my own time not posting anything about the book. (I may say a couple things) But just to keep you on the happy side here is my work on the book so far. (I completely change the begging to meet more of The Monkey Man's expectations.)

"On a night much like this" in his nice soothing voice, he was just beginning to tell me a scary story that I was very curious to learn about. He said the story included monsters and witches and wizards with all types of suspense (which there must be many because he made me feel scared with him just saying that!) My dad and I were walking on the sidewalk back home, and of course it was night time just like my dad said. My dad had whiskers, was about 6 foot 2, and had average strength and speed. His hair was brown and eyes a nice deep blue color. His name was William. I felt like that name suited him very well. I don't know why it just....worked. My dad being a nice dad let me lead as I was an adventurous 6 year old. As we were walking home we came upon a crosswalk (like we always do). After we checked both ways we started walking across the crosswalk. Well, he started walking I bolted down the street. "Robert wait up!" He called as I ran across the crosswalk. Suddenly a car appeared speeding down the road at lightening speed. My dad like the dad he is quickly pulled me back but during the process sending him forward. He disappeared with the car along the road. The sad thing is his body was never found. Now you know why I said was and had instead of is and has. I woke up. Yep, that was all a dream. Well.... that was a dream the thing is it actually happened. I have that dream again and again every night. That dream it has it's pro's and con's. I love that dream because I get that sense of safety for 1 or 2 minutes but then why I hate that dream is that all my pain and agony of losing my dad comes rushing back. The thing is I will never forget what happened exactly because what happened in my dream was 100 percent what happened in real life. Now, I'm 12 right? Well, if I'm 12 that means I'm in 7th grade. And in 7th grade you wake up around 6 o'clock and go to bed a 10. Around 2 o'clock is the only time when I forget what has happened and then it all comes rushing back to me when either someone mentions it or when I go to bed. Imagine. Now other than him being my dad and all one reason why his loss is so great is because EVERYONE knows him. Why is that? He is one of the two people that their eye color changes depending on there mood. The other person is me. One day their blue the next it is brown sometimes it is even red. When I'm angry they are red, when I'm sad they are blue. Also when I'm enraged they are yellow. There are a few others also. There are a few pro's and con's to this situation too. A con I have to get right of the bat is well you normally don't want people to know what mood your in. I mean if your mom said she would buy you your favorite candy bar and then she comes home and apologies by saying "Oh! Sorry! I completely forgot!" You just want to be a man a say "Oh, that's O.K." But you can't do this any more because you'll say "Oh, that's O.K." But you know they know that your lying because your eye color is blue which means your sad. But on the other hand having everyone know what mood your in can be useful. Perhaps one of your friends is joking around with you but they start to go to far they know when to stop when your eye color starts to become red. Plus everyone knows you. But this can be a disadvantage because everyone wants to become friends with you. Well just stop there on that pro con thing o.k. Every day I have a routine. 1.Wake up. 2.Write down what mood I'm in (my eye color) is. 3.Eat breakfast........ it goes on and on. I appeared inside a cave. Right next to me was what looked like a baby dragon. I was scared and astonished as would you be if you were in my situation. Suddenly the baby dragon disappeared. I ran outside to what looked sort of like a zoo. But instead of tigers and lions there was dragons, griffons and other creatures. The next thing I knew at least 50 soldiers came and seized me then through me in jail. The soldiers had steel armor on holding spears and had a symbol on there shield. (this picture would be in the book)

It was dimly lit in the room with men slouching on walls with a rubber band on their wrist which I also now have on. I fell over on a wall and fainted of exhaustion.

"About six years ago to this day I saw a person that looked just like you" I explained to the kid, trying to sound as friendly as possible. Earlier the kid I'm talking to drop into the jail cell. He seemed awfully familiar. Then I remembered about six years ago someone who looked just like him but older got thrown in here. He some how escaped on his own, so when this kid dropped in I wasn't going to let the opportunity pass by, I was going to use him to get out. When people started mocking him that is when I struck. I broke up the fight and started becoming friends with him, I learned that his name is Robert and he learned that my name is Chase. Now, I explained my plan to get out of the jail, I think he was taking a liking to it, he seemed to get excited at the idea of exploring this new world he found. Now, what he didn't know was that I was just going to fly away right when we got out. I was actually going to fly is the thing. I'm blind, meaning I can control air. Now you may be thinking how I could know that Robert and the man looked similar. Well, the thing is I didn't, I used the air to feel his face. And I noticed that this face and the other face felt a lot alike.____ I taught him that the rubber bands basically drain your eye color leaving you with no power. I noticed that he has blue eyes. This means he has water bending powers, sad, water bending power are not common and he is going to lose that. Of course this doesn't work on blind people because we have no eye color. The rubber band just makes it so I can't use my powers when it's on. Naturally I don't tell the kid because he would probably figure out that I'm just going to betray him and run. No, I'm not betraying him, I'm just trying to get out and he is the only way to do it.
